My children are so full of energy, I need something to keep up; coffee or nap? Our Camp is in very good spirits… Our MOM is fighting her way back, kicking ass & taking names (Mike, Jay, Shawn, Ben, Mickey, Dom, Dan, Anthony). I’m starting to think that maybe she just wanted to be surrounded by all the men in our family. Love her… Good start to my day & it is not even 9am…
& I am looking forward to my upcoming court date, can’t wait. Love it… Great to see my family. My mother-in law is still in ICU & in stable condition at this moment; and for that we are grateful. I miss my boys… With all that is going on at our camp, some people find it necessary to wave the red flag in my face. *** You got my attention; like in real estate (caveat emptor) you just bought yourself a whole lot of trouble. Some people will never learn; good thing for you is that I love teaching. Glad they got there safely. It has been an emotional day at our camp. My mother-in-law has taken a turn for the worst & we are praying for a miracle. Perfect end to our fun day. On the way home Kayla, belted out country tunes the whole way; PRICELESS. Kids having a blast, running around & enjoying the great weather @ the park with Rocky & Max. My mother-in-law is back in the hospital; this time in the neurology ICU. I loved seeing my Sophia, so excited to give her teacher the teddy bear, mug & box of chocolates; that for a brief moment (very brief moment), I thought this is what is it should be about. I believe that my husband has 365 days a year to shower me with love & gifts, so I’m not willing to have him save it for a couple days out of the year. With that said, for those that love this day, enjoy, & have fun… For my hubby, thank you for making every day, my special day (except for the days I have computer issues). To my brother from another mother, enjoy your day; you deserve it. Interesting Friday, while out running errands this morning, I ran into two friends; one of which I have not seen in a while & another with great news.
Another day of work for my poor knees… To the best sister ever, we wish you all the BEST life has to offer. Enjoy you special day… Sophia is home sick today, which means, I have a hang out buddy for the day. So as we walk out & realize it is raining, she says “Mom, be careful with your hair, I think you used washable hair color & it could come out in the rain” I’ll be dropping her off, for some daddy time. TGIF… People should learn to stay within their limits, especially when it concerns my children; I am the parent. Now, let the fun being, as I make waves… Let me start by saying, that our female Raider Team kicked ass. This competition composed of two man teams representing the BEST Raiders in the State of Florida. This was our first year competing, and WOW our female team took placed 3rd overall. Amazing ladies; well done. I could not be prouder of my Kayla; she has blossomed into an amazing young lady. She has exceeded our expectation on so many levels, we are just so proud. So as Kayla competed, James & I had a blast with our cluster of supporters. I have to say that my son is turning into Mike, right before my eyes; he is a one man comedy show. Thank you, James for the entertainment (white shirt, 2 Pepsi’s, 1 lunch) value, priceless. As James & I, enjoyed the comp., Mike & the little ones enjoyed time with our Orlando family. There were parks, games, pizza & tons of fun (Thank God). Would not have been a good ride home, if those two were not in a happy place. On Sunday, the crew went to Busch gardens; don’t know how they had the energy; nice to be 16 yrs. old. I spent time with my family, took a nap, and then we were off on the road again. Home safe… This morning Kayla, is telling us how she spent the day at Busch Gardens, when she says “mom, I was so scared of this ride, due to how tall it was” and Sophia looks over and says “Kayla, all you had to do was imagine everybody in diapers, then you won’t be scared; that’s what I do” Love my Sophia. Thank you, Camp M&M; great road trip.
On the road again… Daddy’s little girl. One of the many reasons, I love my life. MJ hands me a rolled up strip of paper as he enters the car during pickup; then says “Mom, I was just thinking about you”. I have been experiencing knee pain for a while now, so I thought nothing of it till a few weeks ago when I was unable to get myself up from squatting down to get something. That was it, doctors’ appointments, specialist then of course (as if I have the time) therapy. This brings me to today, first day of therapy; that went as little like this: Therapist: We will have to sonogram, massage (BEST PART), exercise, and ice; send electros to relax the muscle and that was the good news. Bad news: No quick fix, this will require a lifestyle change. GREAT! Next on my “to do” list:
