When did my baby girl turn into such a wise young lady. She says “Mom, don’t spend time thinking about people that don’t matter; the ones that matter are right here.” So true. Her advice on an email I was going to send out. We wish you the best b-day ever. My boys did such a great job taking care of Kayla & I; now it sucks that Jay is getting sick. “Liquor before beer you’re in the clear” First day of the new year and we are starting off on the right foot. My baby boy started his first day @ his new job, Kay is spending time with a good friend, MJ & Sophia are doing a marathon Wii battle, Mike & I are completing the paperwork for my new consulting position and the pups are lounging around as usual. Camp M&M is off to a great start. This has been a year of many ups & downs. I could bitch about all the hard times and all the fake ass people I came across this year, but after spending today, the last day if 2012 with my camp and my brother; I realized that my life is pretty damn sweet. Can’t wait to see what 2013 brings our way! Happy New Year!!! To you and your family. We are so fortunate to have great friends. So many acts of kindness, from so many wonderful people. After a few hard weeks, seeing my hubby go through some health concerns; I can honestly say that nothing is more important than being with the ones you love. I am beyond lucky to have found a man that was made to order for our camp. I hope never to find out what life would be like without him in it. Went to pick up my new eye prescription, when the pharmacist informs me that these drops have less steroids that the generic version. So I ask which is better? His responses “the more steroids the better”. Our prayers go out to all the families in CT. What started off as somewhat of a good week, has turned into a disaster. It does make you put things in perspective. I have no words to express how I feel being your mother. On this your last Raider competition I can just marvel seeing the young lady you have become. It seems unbelievable to me that my beautiful little girl has blossomed into a kickass, smart, funny, confident and beautiful young lady. Thank you for making everyday scrumptiously delicious. What a start to my day… After a 10 day visit from my Dad & Grandma, things are back to normal; normal for my camp. We were surprisingly pleased with the visit; the kids enjoyed spending time with grandpa, Kayla & James seemed so happy to be driving him around, hanging out and watching all the crazy things he would do. I don’t even want to know about the fifty trips to Wal-Mart & Publix. I loved seeing my Dad teaching Kayla some Merengue moves and then James to bust a move with his sister. Seeing Sophia dance with her oversized teddy bear,as he played old school Latin music. MJ loved walking around calling his name; Grandpa Moises, Grandpa Moises for no reason. Watching my Grandmother telling her adult son what to do, was priceless. We also made a dent in the Sangria supply @ Publix, Thanks to Mike, Moises & Reuben. Spending time with my Dad this time around was better that I has anticipated. I can honestly say that Mike & I had a great time listening to him talk about all his adventures. . We ate, we drank, we laughed & most important we made great memories. What started out as a stress filled day, turned into great night with my crew & family. Thanks to the men for their comedy routine. |
